Inter have given up in the race to sign Francisco Trincao in wake of Juventus’ last offer for the Sporting Braga youngster according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Juventus have reached an agreement in principle over a transfer involving the 19-year-old attacker with the Portuguese club.

The Bianconeri have offered a sum of €2 million to take him on loan for the remainder of the season and a further €13 million to turn the move permanent at the end of the season. Inter, as per the report, are unwilling to match the €15 million offer of their rivals.

Trincao has made nine appearances, six of which as a starter, across all competitions this term for Os Arcebispos where he has tallied one assist in 428 minutes of action.

The Portuguese youth international only signed a contract extension at the Estádio Municipal de Braga back in September through to the Summer of 2023 but now looks all set to begin life at Juventus.
