Milan have joined a host of others in the race to sign Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Rossoneri’s sporting director Leonardo has recently been in contact with Genoa with regards to a move for the Pole who made headlines in the early part of the season for scoring in each of his first seven Serie A appearances.
Piatek has attracted interest from Napoli but they now appear to have turned their attention towards his strike partner Christian Kouame instead.
Inter and Juventus have both also shown an interest in the 23-year-old but their moves are dependant on futures of players currently at the club namely Mauro Icardi and Mario Mandzukic respectively.
All in all this season, Piatek, who joined Genoa in the Summer for a mere €4 million, has made 21 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoblu scoring a very impressive 19 goals in the process.
