Inter will make at least two new signings for the midfield in the Summer transfer window and as a result, there will be some players needing to move on to make way according to a report from Tuttosport.

At least one of the current midfielders will need to leave the club with Borja Valero, Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino more likely candidates than Marcelo Brozovic, Radja Nainggolan or even the rejuvenated Joao Mario.

While Valero, who is soon to turn 34, would be an easy player to move on simply because of his age, his experience is vital in certain situations as proved on a few occasions this season.

Gagliardini appears to be out of favour and at the bottom of the midfield pecking order as evidenced by the fact he has made just seven starts and 10 appearances in total this season.

As for Vecino, he does not offer a lot of guarantees in terms of being able to remain fit but certainly has plenty potential to make Inter a nice gain. Come the Summer he will count as €15 million against Inter’s balance sheet and Inter could well sell him on for €25-30 million.
