Inter continue to work on trying to sign Cruzeiro’s young goalkeeper, Gabriel Brazao born in 2000, according to a report in today’s paper edition of  Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the report: “The boy is a non-EU citizen. The operation can be done immediately but the player would have to go to another club first due to the Serie A limit on the number of non-EU citizens a club can register every season. The Brazilian can go to Chievo first before joining Inter, similar to what Julio Cesar did in 2005. The talks have started but everything is still being discussed. In Brazil, they swear that Gabriel Brazao will be the next big thing, and so far it looks like Inter are agreeing with that.”

The goalkeeper is one position that Inter might not have to worry about for a long time. The Nerazzurri have been lucky with their goalkeepers in the past few years, going from one worldclass keeper to the next, and now it seems that Inter are trying to plan for the future between the sticks.
