Sao Paulo are attempting to acquire 30% of goalkeeper Jean’s rights amid interest from a host of clubs according to a report from UOL Esporte.

Third party ownership is common in Brazil and if Sao Paulo were to acquire their desired amount it would mean they would earn far more revenue if a future sale is to take place.

As per the report from the Brazilian news outlet, Inter are among the clubs keen on the 23-year-old shot-stopper who is under contract with the South American giants through to December 2022.

Inter aside, Benfica, Porto and Manchester City are all also interested. It is said in the report that City could sign him and send him to satellite club Girona in Spain.

In 55 career appearances at senior club level, Jean has recorded an impressive 17 clean sheets in the process. He can also boast about being part of the national team set-up and currently finds himself in the under 23 side having previously also represented the under 20’s.
