Battles between Inter and Juventus in the transfer market are seemingly endless with yet another battle appearing to be on the horizon according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport as both clubs are keen on signing Flamengo starlet Lincoln.

Lincoln’s name has come in to connection with Inter as a result of talks between the two clubs over out-of-favour Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa. Inter are looking to sell Gabigol on permanently for €18 million but that is a fee outwith Flamengo’s capabilities. As a result, many reports have suggested Inter have asked about getting an option of sorts on Lincoln for the future, which in turn would see them reduce their demands.

Juventus interest is meanwhile not new. Back in 2017 they courted him but cooled their interest in the Brazilian youth international when Flamengo unveiled their demands.

Lincoln currently has a €40 million release clause in his contract and it would take the Rubro-Negro to lessen their demands for the Bianconeri to fully re-enter the race.
