Inter’s management are always at work on the transfer market and despite being in the January transfer window, they are already looking ahead to the Summer transfer window according to a report from Sport Mediaset.

Inter’s number one goal is Real Madrid star Luka Modric. Inter are not bothered by the fact that the Croatian will soon turn 34-years-old given his quality as evidenced by his recent Balon d’Or win. As per the report, it would take €50 million for Inter to prize him away from Los Blancos.

Other reports have linked Inter with a move for Arjen Robben on a free transfer but Sport Mediaset detail that the veteran Dutchman does not interest Nerazzurri management as much as other potential free transfers like Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin.

The Nerazzurri are not looking solely for experience and will look to add some young talent to the roster to. The report continues by mentioning Inter’s interest in Nicolo Barella, who they face competition from Napoli and Chelsea for. Barella aside, Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul, who is valued at €25 million, is another player under consideration.
