Former Inter defender Riccardo Ferri has spoken on the current situation of the Inter defence and started by speaking on the future of Milan Skriniar with the club.

“Skriniar has improved a lot, I believe that Inter wants to grow and retain their best players,” Ferri said in an interview with Radio Sportiva.

Ferri then discussed Diego Godin who is being linked with a free transfer to the Nerazzurri.

“He is very good in one on one situations and with his positioning. He is a top player. The Nerazzurri also have Stefan de Vrij, so therefore I say that this is a defence that does not have to envy the others in Europe.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on Miranda who is said to be unhappy with his playing time.

“He has shown in his career what he is worth but last year he was under par. He was shy when put under pressure and in such a strong department it is normal that he has had a lack of action.”
