Inter have no intention to sell Miranda this window without first securing a replacement. This according to Tuttosport, who report that the veteran centre back wants to leave the club immediately.

“The club have told Miranda that in order for him to leave, they would have to receive an offer of at least €8 million euros, if not €10 million. This high figure might discourage some potential suitors (including Roma, according to recent reports.)

“This money would also help Inter reinvest in a replacement. Marotta, Ausilio, and Gardini have a few players in mind, but at the top of the list is Sampdoria’s Andersen. The relationship between Inter and Sampdoria is excellent, but Sampdoria would not want to sell Andersen immediately, but they could change their mind if Inter were to offer an expensive loan (from the money that Miranda would bring in.) Inter also have a few players in mind as ‘Plan B’ including Manchester City’s Mangala (who is followed by Galatasary) and Chelsea’s Cahill (who has a long list of suitors in the Premier League.) Both of these players have expiring contracts and would be low-cost options.”
