According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter have quite a few options for their midfield situation, in a recent report they discuss some of the players that Inter could bring in.

“First we have Nicolo Barella, for whom Inter is not willing to go above 30-35 million euros, there seems to be quite a large difference between what Inter are willing to offer and what Cagliari are requesting, even if Inter is willing to lower the fee by sending players the other way. Inter are also keeping an eye on Tanguy Ndombele, who is still young and has a high potential ceiling. Another player that Inter are serious about is Milinkovic-Savic (provided that Lotito would be willing to lower his demands, because at the moment, his request is simply unreachable.)”

Inter’s weakest department at the moment is their midfield and are looking to add some serious firepower to it in order to boost the quality of the squad as a whole.
