Joachim Andersen has been chosen by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio as the replacement for Miranda according to a report from Tuttosport.

Ausilio has identified the Dane as the replacement for the Brazilian, who could leave the club as early as this transfer window if not in the Summer transfer window instead.

Reports in Brazil suggest that Flamengo have tabled a €4 million offer but Inter want at least double that for the 34-year-old. €8 million may appear on the face of it as a big fee for someone of his age but such a sum would help Inter to reinvest in a replacement.

If Miranda does depart the club in this window for that sum or similar, Inter will knock on Sampdoria’s door and try do a loan with right to redemption deal. Sampdoria are understood to value Andersen between €25-30 million but Inter could bring the price down by inserting counterparts.
