Gabriel Moraes, the agent of Hector Herrera, has denied the recent media reports concerning the future of his client amidst alleged interest from several Italian sides.

“Nothing of what has been written and what has been said in the last days is true. Hector has not committed himself to any club, neither with Inter or with Rome or Milan.

“One of the lies that has been written is that I flew to Italy to define the details of the contract. Well, I can tell you that I did not leave Porto because my daughter is sick,” he insisted to A Bola.

Multiple reports have spoken about clubs having to use up a non-EU spot to sign Herrera but Moraes has revealed this will not be the case.

“Last September, the law has changed and Hector will meet all the requirements to apply for a Portuguese passport in July. As everyone knows or should know, this is a process that can take several months.”

Moraes concluded the interview by stating Herrera is going nowhere this window.

“Hector will not leave Porto this month. He wants to win other titles with the club and that’s all he thinks about.”
