There seems to be no end in sight for negotiations between Inter and Mauro Icardi alongside his representatives with talks ongoing as a result of a dispute between supply and demand.

According to a report from FCInterNews.it, Icardi has requested an annual base salary of €8 million and a further €2 million in bonuses taking his total annual salary up to the €10 million mark, over double what he current earns.

Inter have meanwhile offered their talisman a €5.6 million base salary and a further €900,000 in bonuses for a total salary worth €6.5 million.

The report goes on to state that the Inter management, namely chief executive Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio, are concerned by his wife and agent Wanda Nara who has come out numerous times and made lots of different claims.

Icardi is an integral part of Inter and already under contract until the end of the 2021/22 season but a new contract would undoubtedly deter alleged interest in his services.
