Napoli are preparing a huge offer for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ready to offer the Rossoblu a €40 million deal made up of €20 million cash and Marko Rog and Adam Ounas who have a combined value of €20 million.

Despite the offer, Cagliari president Tomasso Giulini does not wish to deprive his side of Barella’s talents, the report goes on.

Inter and Chelsea in particular have both also shown an interest in signing the Italian international. They certainly pose a threat to Napoli who are intent on getting a deal wrapped up for Barella soon, particularly due to Paris St. Germain’s continued interest in signing Allan.

Barella has been a mainstay in Cagliari’s side this term and has made 20 appearances across all competitions this season. In close to 1800 minutes of action, Barella has managed one goal but no assists.
