Journalist Daniele Adani has spoken about Inter potentially signing Diego Godin and what it means for the club and the future of Milan Skriniar.

“Godin presents himself, as a leader, one of his main strengths is his marking while another is his ability to lead the defence,” Adani remarked on the sidelines of TuttoMercatoWeb’s ‘Pitti Uomo’ event.

Godin is being tipped by many media outlets as a potential free transfer for Inter come the end of the season. As per some reports, Inter are already in talks with the Uruguayan stopper to discuss terms which could result in a pre-contract being agreed.

Adani then went on to speak about Skriniar and was full of praise for the Slovakian who is attracting interest from some of the world’s best clubs.

“He [Skriniar] should not be sold. He is one of the strongest centre backs in the world and he is decisive in every match, he rarely concedes goals.”
