Inter are continuing to monitor Braga striker Trincao and Boca Juniors midfielder Almendra despite fierce competition from Juventus and Napoli, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are beginning to organise their plans for next summer’s transfer window following the arrival of Beppe Marotta from Juventus, with a series of high-profile signings on the agenda.

However the club have not lost sight of the need to invest for the future and hope to secure at least one of the two youngsters attracting attention from Italy’s top sides at the moment.

Juventus remain in pole position to sign Trincao, who turned 19 at the end of December, with Inter owners Suning unwilling to match the offer the Bianconeri have made Benfica after deeming it to be too high.

Napoli meanwhile represent their main rivals for the signing of Almendra, 18, and again the Partenopei seem willing to spend more money on the midfielder than Inter.
