After firing Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho, Manchester United has switched their plans in this winters transfer market.

They had been chasing Fiorentina defender, Nikola Milenkovic but since the change in management, the talks have now cooled off. According to sources from ESPN FC, the Serbian defender will no longer be a priority for Manchester United.

Instead, they will change their focus to other defenders in Serie A such as Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Inter’s Milan Skriniar.

Skriniar has been in contract negotiation talks with Inter for quite some time now, but seeing as Inter have not yet matched his desired salary, other clubs may try to swoop in and give him what he wants.

However, Inter will not give him up for a cheap price. Same goes for Koulibaly at Napoli. President, Aurelio De Laurentiis does not plan on selling Koulibaly regardless of the money offered. Manchester United will monitor both of their situations.
