Inter winger Antonio Candreva has praised himself and his Inter teammates for the way in which they approached today’s game with Benevento in the Coppa Italia which they won 6-2 with him grabbing a brace.
“We have approached this match in the best way with the right mindset. The important thing is to be ready: Inter is an important team and we want to reach the final in this competition. Today was a difficult game and now we think about the league again,” the Italian, who was making a rare start, said to Inter TV after the match at San Siro.
“We knew we had to approach this match in the best way possible in order to avoid making the same mistakes we made last season against Pordenone.”
He concluded, “The victory is good for the team and now we will prepare in the best way for next Saturday against Sassuolo.”
