Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is pressing to bring Federico Cherubini to Inter in a bid to further strengthen Inter’s leadership according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Cherubini is Juventus president Fabio Paratici’s right hand man and Marotta has already made some attempts to bring him to the Nerazzurri.

Marotta values Cherubini very highly and would like to bring him to Inter due to his previous experience. Cherubini is understood to be honoured by Marotta’s esteem for him but has recently climbed the Juventus hierarchy to find himself in the position he currently does.

He currently has a lot of power at the Bianconeri and for this reason it will be by no means easy to snatch him away from the Allianz Stadium. A lot will depend on the kind of remit Marotta could provide Cherubini with and in the coming months more will be known on the subject, the report concludes.
