Andrea Ranocchia has spoken on his future at Inter with his contract due to expire at the end of the current season.

“I am calm. I have several months remaining on my contract and I will talk with the leadership with great serenity and then we will see what the future holds,” the defender said in an interview with Sport Mediaset.

The centre back recently celebrated his eight year anniversary with the club and made his first appearance of the season in yesterday’s 6-2 win over Benevento in the Coppa Italia.

It remains to be seen if the 30-year-old Italian will be given more opportunities to impress off the back of his performance in yesterday’s match.

Ranocchia joined Inter from Genoa and has since went on to make 189 appearances across all competitions for the club and is the only player in the current squad to have won a trophy at Inter.
