Inter and Chievo Verona are close to wrapping up the transfer of young Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao from Cruzeiro according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the report, the deal will be concluded this week or the next at the very latest, and will be identical in its structure in how the Nerazzurri signed Julio Cesar almost a decade ago.

Back then the Chievo signed the Brazilian goalkeeper in synergy with the Nerazzurri who had no non-EU slot left to fill similarly to today. The promising goalkeeper Brazao, born in 2000, will arrive in Italy where he will spend the rest of the season with Chievo before making the transfer to the black and blue part of Milano in the summer.

Brazao’s current deal with Cruzeiro expires at the end of December 2021 and Di Marzio makes no mention of the transfer fee or any details regarding his contract with Inter in terms of duration or the costs.
