There is no meeting scheduled between Inter’s Directors and the wife and agent of Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi according to Milano based news outlet Corriere della Sera.

According to the report, however, this uncertainty should not be interpreted as a pessimistic sign, as a meeting between the parties will be scheduled as soon as Inter are able to raise the offer presented last October by Sporting Director Piero Ausilio. Back then, Ausilio offered the Nerazzurri captain, €6,5 million net per season, something Icardi quickly dismissed as too low.

However, the Corriere della Sera report further that in order for a deal to take place, Mauro Icardi has to lower his current demands of €10 million net including bonuses, something the Nerazzurri cannot afford.

In conclusion, the newspaper, state that this offer could come at any point over the next few hours to few days and that a deal could be reached very soon.
