The investigation into the ugly events that marred Inter vs Napoli on boxing day, namely the death of Inter ultra Daniele Belardinelli, is ongoing.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, today an examination will take place to determine any and all bone fractures and then an autopsy will take place tomorrow. Within the next month more answers are expected to come out.

The Milan based newspaper have also brought an update on the latest when it comes to how Belardinelli died, confirming the involvement of two cars.

Dede was hit by one car of the convoy of the Neapolitan fans practically at the beginning of the guerrilla warfare on via Novara. When on the ground, another car then passed slowly over the top of him.”

The ugly events were not limited to just outside San Siro though. Inside the ground a portion of Inter’s fans subjected Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly to racist jeers. As a result Inter were hit with a stadium ban.
