Inter have met with the representatives of Young Boys defender Loris Benito with a view to signing him in the Summer according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Negotiations between the involved parties are still in their infancy but there is a shared desire to find an agreement.

The 27-year-old left back is out of contract with the Swiss side at the end of the season and seemingly has no intention to prolong his stay in Bern.

Inter intend to sign him and let him have pre-season with the club which will determine what the future holds for him. If he succeeds he will remain but if not he will be loaned out elsewhere in Italy with Sassuolo, Empoli and Parma all possible destinations for him.

This season the two-time full Swiss international has made 25 appearances across all competitions where he has tallied a total of three assists in 2310 minutes of action.
