Corriere dello Sport have hypothesised what Inter’s defence – particularly centrally – could look like for next season.

With Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij already at the club, they will be joined by Diego Godin and Joachim Andersen, currently of Atletico Madrid and Sampdoria respectively, in the Summer transfer window.

Godin is set to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Nerazzurri with his contract at the Colchoneros due to expire at the end of the season and has given Inter his word that he will do this. With Miranda set to leave Inter as a result of being unhappy with his playing time, Andersen will be brought in from La Samp to replace him and complete Inter’s centre back department.

The Rome based newspaper believe that once deals for those players are done, “At that point, it would be difficult to identify, even among the other big names in Europe, a department so rich both in terms of quantity and quality.”
