Despite what was earlier reported, it turns out that tomorrow will not be the day that Inter sit down with Mauro Icardi’s wife/agent Wanda Icardi to hold talks over a new deal according to a report from Sky Sport Italia.
The broadcaster reported earlier today that a meeting had been scheduled for tomorrow but a decision has been taken to postpone talks and they could possibly take place at the start of next week instead, this due to the fact tomorrow is the day before a match.
Sky Sport go on to detail that the contact between the involved parties today shows a mutual desire to find an agreement which has so far been difficult to come by and will certainly take multiple meetings to come.
Wanda is understood to be demanding a sharp increase in the salary her client earns and as per various reports she has demanded an annual salary of at least €9 million for the Nerazurri captain.
