News on what Inter and Milan intend to do with regards to the stadium situation will come next month according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The idea of building a new stadium is a hot topic and by the end of next month it will become clear what the future holds on the stadium front.

Initially, it seemed like the clubs were set on restructuring San Siro but this no longer appears to be the favoured hypothesis of the two Milanese clubs.

The new stadium could be built adjacent to the current ground with the possibility of San Siro being turned in to a residential area, similarly to what happened with Arsenal’s former ground Highbury upon their move to the Emirates Stadium.

The report goes on to state that Inter’s presumed new investors the LionRock Capital fund could largely help with making funds available not only on the transfer market but to deal with the stadium situation too.
