D’Ambrosio Favoured Over Vrsaljko When Inter Face Sassuolo

Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport is in agreement with Gazzetta dello Sport that Danilo D’Ambrosio will start over Sime Vrsaljko against Sassuolo at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The probable return of Radja Nainggolan, is however slightly less anticipated by the Corriere. Although the newspaper believes he could start, there’s also the possibility that Spalletti does not think he is completely ready.  Unlike other times this season when we have seen the Belgian played despite not being at his best, whether that’s due to physical or technical reasons, now the tactician has the option to alternate with Joao Mario, who would step in if the Nainggolan is deemed not ready for tomorrow.

Marcelo Brozovic returns from his one game suspension which he served against Empoli due to too many yellow card offences, offering Borja Valero a well deserved rest, and the Croat is believed to partner Matias Vecino in midfield.

Both the Uruguayan player and Roberto Gagliardini have been out of form in recent games but the former Fiorentina man seems to be the preferred option at this moment.

Surprisingly, Corriere, also believe that Padelli will continue in place of Handanovic.

Inter (4-3-3): Padelli, D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah, Vecino, Brozovic, Nainggolan, Politano, Icardi, Perisic
