Noted agent, Patrick Bastianelli spoke to RMC Sport about Icardi and Inter’s contract renewal situation and he does not fully agree with how things have been handled.
Mainly Bastianelli was annoyed with the fact that “negotiations” have mostly gone through means of social media, thus overexposing the events throughout this situation.
“In the end they are right, both him and the club. The player knows what he is doing and he wants to try to snatch a contract like other top players, but Inter offers important money and have already shown that they want to keep the player.”
“These things should remain within a professional relationship, instead the whole thing has been deliberately overexposure in the media.”
No agreement between the parties has been made yet but for now it seems that both the club and Wanda have calmed down and are talking directly with each other rather than via social media apps and TV shows.
