Inter’s Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was interviewed by Italian broadcaster DAZN after the goalless draw against Sassuolo in the first game if the Serie A in 2019 for the Nerazzurri, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

Handanovic was asked about his saves which ended up saving Inter a point stating: “I made a few saves, my job is this to do something. The result is fair as the match was evenly balanced, both teams played football and created chances. Now we are already thinking about the next match.”

The match was played in front of 11,000 children in another wise empty San Siro to which Handanovic stated: “We say that they had fun and messed around but it is bad to play in an empty stadium.”

In conclusion Handanovic was asked about the fact that Inter don’t concede many goals stating that: “When you dont concede goals, the merit belongs to the team, but it also depends on how many chances you allow your opponents to have. We are good but we need to improve however this was a good start.”
