Yann Karamoh has promised Inter supporters he will return to the club ‘very soon’ after leaving in the summer to join Bordeaux on loan.

The 20-year-old forward has made 22 appearances in all competitions since arriving in France, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

However he remains strongly attached to parent club Inter and yesterday told fans on his Instagram profile he hopes to return at the end of the current season.

“I’ll come back one day and that day is very close,” Karamoh said in the comments section under one of his posts.

Karamoh joined Inter last summer on an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent deal worth €5.5 million.

However the French under-21 international made only 16 appearances for the Nerazzurri during his first season in Italy, leading him to depart this season in search of further game-time.

Antonio Candreva is expected to leave Inter in the summer and Karamoh could replace him in Luciano Spalletti’s attacking options.
