Luciano Spalletti faces two late selection dilemmas as Inter prepare to return to Serie A action against Sassuolo this evening, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Radja Nainggolan and Joao Mario are both in contention to start behind lone striker Mauro Icardi while Danilo D’Ambrosio and Sime Vrsaljko are vying for a spot at right-back.

Spalletti remains torn over who to favour in defence but is thought to be leaning towards Joao Mario for the no. 10 position, with Borja Valero now expected to start from the bench.

Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic will start alongside Icardi in Inter’s front three while Matias Vecino retains his place in midfield next to Marcelo Brozovic.

The first team had dinner last night with CEO Giuseppe Marotta, Chief Football Operations Officer Giovanni Gardini and sporting director Piero Ausilio.

Corriere dello Sport’s probable Inter line-up to play Sassuolo is as follows:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, De Vrij, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Politano, Joao Mario, Perisic; Icardi.
