Stefan de Vrij praised Sassuolo for the way in which they performed in last night’s 0-0 draw against Inter at San Siro in each side’s first league game of 2019.
“Sassuolo is a good team, they played very well and we knew it would be tough against them,” he said in an interview with DAZN.
“We had to stay focused for the whole game. We did pretty well defensively and then Handanovic saved us in a couple of situations. He is a very strong goalkeeper and a very good person too.”
