Roberto Gagliardini is on Fiorentina’s shortlist to improve their midfield during the ongoing January transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
La Viola have already enquired about the 24-year-old and wish to take the former Atalanta midfielder on loan for the remainder of the season. This is something that Inter management are unwilling to consider.
Inter are understood to value Gagliardini between €20-25 million and the report goes on to state that the clubs could meet during the transfer window to understand if there is room for a negotiation to take place.
The Italian international has struggled for regular playing time this season at Inter and has been limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions.
The midfielder has not played in any of Inter’s last five league games but did start – and finish – the 6-2 win over Benevento in the Coppa Italia, a game where Inter manager Luciano Spalletti afforded several out-of-favour players some game time.
