There will be no agreement found during the first meeting between Inter and Wanda Icardi over a new contract for Mauro Icardi according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.
The report continues that there is still no date decided for a face to face meeting between the parties which will not prove decisive in the signing of a new deal due to the fact there is still some distance between supply and demand.
An agreement will be reached in the end though due to the parties shared desire to find one. The 25-year-old is currently under contract with the Nerazzurri through to 2021 and is likely to extend by a further year or two.
He will also see a huge increase in his pay packet with reports suggesting Inter are currently offering him €7 million per season to prolong his stay at the club while Wanda, Icardi’s wife/agent. is demanding €9 million.
