After having helped his Atalanta destroy Frosinone in the Serie A by 5-0 away at the Stadio Benito Stirpe, young Italian central defender Giuseppe Mancini, stopped by the gathering press in the mixed zone to share his thoughts on the match, as well as the transfer rumors surrounding him.
When asked directly about the transfer rumors he replied: “I don’t make a thing out of it, because whenever young players do well, too many articles come out. They need to give young players more time to improve and allow them to make mistakes.”
“Today, if a young player plays 4-5 good matches and maybe scores a goal it is written in all the papers, but I don’t make a thing out of it and I think about staying here at Atalanta. It is a fantastic club, with fantastic team mates and a coach who improves you.”
“These transfer rumors are all just talk that disappear with the wind” Mancini concluded.
