Duvan Zapata’s agent Fernando Villarreal has rubbished recent media speculation that has claimed there is an agreement in place for his client to join Inter.
“Inter are a great club, among the best in Italy and the world, but it is only paper talk. I can categorically deny that there’s an agreement for his move to Inter at the end of the season,” Villarreal told Gazzetta dello Sport.
He added; “You can ‘never say never’ in football and if any convenient opportunities for the player and club crop up tomorrow then we could talk about them.”
He concluded the interview by confirming his client’s commitment to the Atalanta cause.
“However, right now Duvan is only and exclusively thinking about Atalanta and he wants to give his best for these colours.”
The Colombian forward has been in outstanding form as of late having scored 14 goals in his last eight outings in all competitions.
