Inter have been impressed by winger Steven Bergwijn’s performances this season and are set to meet with PSV official to discuss a deal for him according to a report from De Telegraaf.
The 21-year-old started PSV’s 2-2 draw with FC Emmen at the weekend and grabbed an assist during the game. The report goes on to state that there were scouts in the stands from Manchester United taking a closer look at him.
Manchester United aside, Inter face competition from a number of other clubs. Torino, Bordeaux, Real Sociedad and CSKA Moscow have all shown an interest and it is understood that PSV have already rejected an €18 million bid for Bergwijn.
This season Bergwijn has made 25 appearances across all competitions, scoring an impressive 10 goals and tallying nine assists in 2137 minutes on the pitch. He started in both of the Champions League group stage fixtures between the clubs and tallied one of his assists during those games.
