Inter are looking for one that, and that thing is quality. For this season, Inter plan on finishing in the top four to qualify for the Champions League and to go far in all possible competitions, but Inter are also thinking ahead to next season as they want to improve the quality of the squad to get back to being truly competitive.

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport report on all of the possible moves that Inter could make in order to bolster their squad, beginning with that of Real Madrid’s Isco:

“He is a mature player who will turn 27 on April 21st. He is being followed by Juventus and Manchester City, but Inter are also monitoring his situation. It would not be an easy operation because Isco has a contract until 2022, so it will be necessary to negotiate with Florentino Perez. Considering the amount of suitors that Isco has all over Europe, it is expected that his price would be around 100 million euros.”

Two other midfielders that Tuttosport are reporting on are Toni Kroos and Mateo Kovacic:

“Kroos is in the same situation as Isco (contract until 2022), but is two years older and can therefor be brought in at a lower cost. There is also Mateo Kovacic, who has moved on loan to Chelsea. With Modric appearing to decline, Kovacic could be the right Croatian to bring more quality to Inter’s midfield.”

Tuttosport then go on to report on a few names for the attack:

“Anthony Martial has renewed with Manchester United until 2024, so it safe to say that that ship has sailed. Federico Chiesa, however, still remains a priority. Last Summer, Fiorentina demanded 60 million euros for the forward. Inter had to sell Perisic in order to match that valuation, but instead they opted to keep the Croatian who just came back from second place in the World Cup in Russia. Everything could change this Summer.”
