After Inter’s draw with Sassuolo a few days ago, the media is back to reporting about the transfer market and Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in particular, are reporting about Roberto Gagliardini and his potential move away from Inter.

“The idea that Gagliardini could go to Fiorentina was born and dead within a day. There are two reasons why negotiations have come to a halt. The first reason is that Inter would only be open to letting the player leave if they receive an offer for a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy.”

“The second reason is that Gagliardini himself is not very interested in going to Fiorentina as a possible destination. Instead, the former Atalanta man wants to stay at Inter and fight for a spot, at least until June. It is also said that Inter have received an offer from the Premier League, but that offer was also rejected by the player.”

“It seems that Gagliardini will continue to be a hot name until the end of this transfer winder, and if things change and he is sold, Inter would have to look for a replacement.”
