Torino are pondering a move for out-of-favour Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini alongside Fiorentina according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Fiorentina wish to sign the Italian international on loan for the remainder of the season with Inter understood to want to receive a first option of sorts on Fiorentina star man Federico Chiesa as part of a deal.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined Inter for a sum of €22 million and they are keen to not register a loss on the midfielder who they value at over €20 million.

Neither Fiorentina or Torino are willing to meet the Nerazzurri’s demands for the former Atalanta player, who has been limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 679 minutes.

The report continues that Inter could be willing to loan Gagliardini out with an option to redeem set at €20 million. It also can not be excluded that they make redemption an obligation but it is unlikely to be for as big of a sum.
