Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia has reported several times that Manchester United defender, Matteo Darmian is a target for Inter.
Darmian may come as early as this month, January, in the case that Joao Miranda were to leave Inter. The Nerazzurri are not alone in the pursuit of Matteo Darmian, as Juventus are also giving a strong case to sign the wing back from Manchester United.
Sky Sport Italia spoke to former Palermo and AC Milan player and FIFA World Cup champion from 2006, Cristian Zaccardo, about Darmian in which he said: “From what I understand Matteo is also a big Nerazzurri supporter.”
He went on to speak about the former Inter fullback, Joao Cancelo who is currently at Juventus: “If he manages to become strong also as a fullback, with the crosses, if he could consistently find a target, he will be a top player like Dani Alves or Maicon.”
