Rome based Corriere dello Sport are insisting that in order for Inter to add an element of quality to their squad, they must look to Madrid. The Nerazzurri have set thier sights on four players from Real Madrid: Modric, Kovacic, Kroos, and Isco.

“The Croatian Ballon D’or winner has recently said a few nice things about Real Madrid, which could indicate to him signing a renewal there. Meanwhile Kovacic is on loan at Chelsea, who have expressed their intention to buy him, and if they do, there is no chance that we will see him in Milan, but if Chelsea decide not to sign him, something can happen as Ausilio and Marotta both like the player.”

“Then there are dreams of Kroos and Isco, two champions who could really ‘change’ Inter. Given the size of their release clauses, the only chance Inter has is if the players’ relationships with Real Madrid break down. We are still in January and a lot of things can happen by the time the Summer rolls around. Not to mention the fact that Perez is seemingly interested in Icardi, but that is another story.”
