Atletico Madrid’s Uruguayan international central defender Diego Godin has undergone the medical examinations in order to become an Inter, according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

According to the report, the medical examinations were held these past few hours in great secrecy and all is now set for the Los Colchoneros player to put pen to paper to finalize the transfer.

Godin will sign a two year contract with Inter, with an option for a third, and is set to earn €4,5 million net per season, which can rise to €6 million bonuses comprised. The Uruguayan is set to sign the paper in the coming days and the official announcement is expected to come next week.
