Serie A outfit Parma are considering signing Inter’s Italian central defender Andrea Ranocchia Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia report.

According to the report, the Ducali have added the former Nerazzurri captain to a list of players they are looking at in order to strengthen their back line. Ranocchia’s contract expires at the end of June this year and he is yet to agree terms with Inter over a new contract, so Parma could snap the former Sampdoria man up on a free transfer.

However, it cannot be excluded that Ranocchia could leave the Nerazzurri to join Parma during this transfer window, but in order for that to happen the club will have to first sell a player, before bringing another one in.

Andrea Ranocchia joined Inter in January 2011 from Genoa for a reported fee of €12,5 million and has since then made 188 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri getting on the score sheet on 11 difference occasions
