Inter President Steven Zhang commented on the shares of the club bought by Hong Kong based fund LionRock Capital, which saw Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir be bought out from the club.

The young Nerazzurri President began by explaining how it came about that LionRock became interested as well as praising the work of the club’s staff, in a statement released on the club’s official homepage.

“In 2018, thanks to the efforts of the entire staff, of our management, coaching team and players, we have achieved strong results in sports performance, commercial growth, and marketing and media innovations. This gives us full confidence for the future development of the Club and has led to the interest of LionRock Capital.”
