Luciano Spalletti spoke with Inter TV following Inter’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

“We were doing things wrong but the whole situation got even more complicated after the goal. We had some important chances before that that we could have put in the net.  The goal came from a dead ball and we knew they had this weapon up their sleeves. The three man defence? They asserted their physicality,” he said.

Next he spoke on Inter’s upcoming match with Lazio in the Coppa Italia.

“We need to find enthusiasm again and winning this game will help do that. We have to be convinced when we are at work that we are doing the right thing and maybe put more of an emphasis on individuality because if everyone can provide something extra to the team then everything becomes different. Football is a team game and 6-7 extra things can make the difference.”

He concluded, “The players I have available are capable of beating anyone and putting in a good performance. [It is all good saying this but] you have to put everything into practice.”
