According to FCInterNews.it, Yannick Carrasco really likes the idea of a move to Inter or Milan but also has interest in his services from a host of Premier League clubs.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United like the player, and although they have not yet taken any concrete steps toward a possible purchase, they regularly keep tabs on him.

In terms of Inter, they are at a slightly more advanced stage. Despite the fact that Inter’s interest in him has only been made public in the past few days, talks have been ongoing between Inter and his representatives for quite some time. For the time being no agreement has been reached or anything too formal but Inter have made an enquiry. In short, the Belgian is not a last minute idea but a player that has been watched by Piero Ausilio for several months.

Closing the deal is difficult though, mainly due to his salary. In China he currently earns a mouthwatering €10 million a year and it is impossible for any Italian club to guarantee him the same salary. However, being able to return to Europe could see him lower his demands.

Another important factor to consider is that Dalian Yifang, the team he currently plays for, paid €30 Million for his signature less than a year ago and therefore they are not likely to let him leave for a nominal fee.

A straightforward loan is a possibility but a potential right of redemption or obligation achieved through certain objectives would be an idea that is more plausible.

However what seems more realistic is to try to sign the player outright, but to have him arrive in the coming days to Appiano Gentile someone, such as Ivan Perisic, would need to leave the Nerazzuri to make way.

In short, the situation is not simple and several things need to line up.
