It remains difficult for Rodrigo de Paul to join Inter ahead of the Summer according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Talks between Inter and Udinese have been going on for some time and it is reported by various sources that the clubs have already agreed terms over the transfer of the versatile Argentine attacker.

The reason behind the difficulty comes down to the situation’s of Ivan Perisic, Antonio Candreva and Yannick Carrasco.

Perisic has requested for a transfer away from the club this window and has attracted interest from Arsenal and Inter are therefore more focused on finding an immediate replacement for the Croatian.

They have identified Dalian Yifang’s Yannick Carrasco as the man to replace him and negotiations could be helped along by the Belgian’s desire to return to Europe from China. Inter could also look to bring the price of Carrasco down by sending out-of-favour Candreva to Dalian as part of any deal.
