Some recent reports in the media have speculated that out-of-favour Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini could be part of a deal that would see Inter land Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese but FCInterNews.it report that he will not go to Udinese.

The Italian national team player has been limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions this season and could instead end up at Premier League side Watford instead, another side owned by the Pozzo family, who also own the aforementioned Udinese.

As per the report, Inter value Gagliardini at €20 million and would be willing to pay Udinese €15 million to take de Paul in the Summer transfer window but goes on to state that Gino Pozzo is not yet convinced about this idea.

Gagliardini joined Inter from Atalanta in January 2017 and despite showing initial promise, he has fallen down the pecking order of late and has not made a league appearance since the start of December.
